According to IMD, the monsoon is estimated to reach eastern Uttar Pradesh in the next 2 or 3 days. Weather conditions such as clouds and winds are supporting the monsoon to quickly move forward. Areas like Gorakhpur, Varanasi, and Prayagraj are predicted to see rain soon. In many parts of UP, the temperature is showing a downfall with the number around 35–36°C. From Heatwave to Monsoon: Major Weather Shift in North India

For many weeks, various North Indian states such as Delhi, Rajasthan, Punjab, and Haryana were facing extremely hot weather with the temperature reaching around 43–45°C. But now, the weather is showing changes. IMD says the monsoon is moving forward quickly with rain in many parts of the country. As rain starts, the climate becomes cooler, as temperature drops down by 2 to 4 degrees. This transition of weather helps to support farming, water supply, and daily life.

• Avoid parking under trees or near weak buildings, as strong winds can damage them.
• For long tours, keep a medical kit with essential things such as a water bottle, medicines, torch, and batteries.
• Daily check weather updates on television, radio, or from the IMD website before going outside.

Weather Maps & Satellite Images from IMD

The Indian Meteorological Department shared satellite images and maps to show how the monsoon is spreading in India. These advanced satellites named INSAT-3D and INSAT-3DR are capable of taking images of clouds, rain, and wind after every hour. These photos help to understand where rain is currently falling and where it is estimated to start. You can also see white clouds in these maps, which means heavy rainfall is expected to happen in that particular area. These maps are very helpful for understanding weather conditions.

Conclusion

India is currently experiencing big weather changes. From the scorching heat in North India to the heavy rainfall in Kerala and coastal states, the monsoon is finally making its presence felt. The IMD has issued alerts across many regions, helping people prepare and stay safe. As rain spreads in the country, it will provide relief from hot weather but also bring some challenges such as heavy rainfall, flooding, and thunderstorms.
Overall, it's important to follow safety rules regarding weather to stay in the safe zone.
